「香港郭林氣功同學會」於2008年成立，是一個由一群癌症病患者組成的非牟利組織。該會的宗旨，是透過積極練習郭林新氣功，實踐群教群學群練，達致舒緩情緒，增強體質的效果，藉此提高病患者的身體免疫能力 ，譲他們能積極地健康地生活。
本會的目標是發揮會員互相幫助、彼此支持鼓勵，和惠澤社群的精神。
「香港郭林氣功同學會」相信：憑著自己的「信心、決心和恒心」，勤練氣功可以對抗癌症。我們期望與大家一起同行，互相守護，實踐「自救自助自娛」的郭林精神。
